Residents in Newtownmountkennedy are being advised the local garda station will be closed until further notice.
This is to facilitate renovation works at the site, with a pop up station operating at the community centre on a weekly basis.
Sergeant John Fitzpatrick says the opening times will depend on demand for the service.
