A status yellow snow-ice warning will be in place until 6pm today.

A status yellow snow-ice warning has been issued for Wicklow this morning, and will be in place until 6pm today.

Met Éireann say that falls of sleet and snow will lead to temporary accumulations.

Road users are being warned of icy stretches on untreated surfaces, poor visibility, and hazardous travelling conditions.

As well as this, a yellow rain warning remains in place fro Wicklow until 3am Saturday morning.

Potential impacts include localised flooding and hazardous travelling conditions.
