Irish Rail is condemning complaints of serious racial abuse on its trains and DART stations, including an incident on the Rosslare service and a separate incident at Bray DART Station.
According to documents released under the Freedom of Information Act, it has received ten written complaints of racial abuse over the past 18 months, including five since March.
A man allegedly entered into a racist tirade on a train near Drogheda, saying he hated 'foreigners' and 'black people.'
Irish Rail's Barry Kenny condemns the behaviour, but says the problem isn't widespread.
