A public consultation process is underway over plans to construct a new footpath on a section of the Herbert Road in Bray.
The proposed project from Wicklow County Council would see the construction of 410 metres of footpath, street lighting and pedestrian safety measures on a section of the road between Ashton Wood and the N11 pedestrian over bridge.
A zebra crossing for pedestrians would also be constructed while some tree felling would be required.
The consultation period will remain open for submissions until the 8th of September.
