Members of the Arklow Municipal District have unveiled a pride pedestrian rainbow crossing in the town.
It's the first of its kind in the republic and is situated across the main street at the post office.
Speaking to East Coast FM's Morning Show, Dave Thomas said it's hoped more will be rolled out across the country.
