1,713 ESB customers in the Arklow area are without power this morning.
More than 2,000 in County Wicklow are still without power this Friday morning after winds exceeding 50km/h battered the area last night.
Outages are being reported near Arklow, Greystones, Kilcoole and Wicklow town with ESB crews working hard to fix all faults before 2.30pm. on Friday.
There are 1,713 without electricity in the Arklow area, with an estimated restoration time of 10.45am.
A total of 101 ESB customers are affected by a fault in Greystones that is not expected to be fixed until 2pm., while a further 147 customers in Kilcoole could be without power until 2.30pm.
