PNA Members Begin Overtime Ban

6-thousand members of the Psychiatric Nurses' Association will begin an overtime ban today in a dispute with the HSE.

15 mental health facilities across the country are being affected by a psychiatric nurses overtime ban, which came into effect earlier. 

The HSE says it will have a significant impact on services, and it's monitoring the situation closely. 

The Psychiatric Nurses Association is staging the indefinite action as it claims there's been a lack of progress in talks with the HSE over pay and working conditions.

The Health Minister says the action is "not on" and must be called out.
