There’s more good news for Arklow this morning.
Following it’s recent decision to give the go ahead for a new Data complex for the town, An Bord Pleanala has upheld planning permission for the new Arklow Waste Water Treatment Plant.
The decision will allow for the construction of a Waste Water treatment plant, which it's believed will take around two years to complete., opening up the opportunity for a huge growth potential for Arklow.
Welcoming the news, Wicklow T.D. Pat Casey said this has been a long time coming and the ball is now in Irish Water's court to ensure the facility is up and running as soon as possible.
