Wicklow County Council has granted planning permission for a new community centre in Coolboy.
The newly approved centre will represent a major upgrade for a range of local groups, including the Shillelagh-Coolboy GAA Club, which currently operates without a clubhouse.
The plans include space for a multi-use games room, Gym area. Physio room, Meeting room, tuck shop with tea and coffee facilities, changing facilities for the walking track and community events with toilet and shower facilities.
