Work is continuing to ensure homes and businesses in Wicklow will be connected under the Government’s plan for high speed broadband.
Homes in Cork and Cavan became the first in the country to be connected to high speed internet under the plan last month. The garden county will see an investment of 59 million euro in the new high speed fibre network by 2025.
Surveys and design plans have now been completed in a number of areas including parts of Roundwood, as well as townlands in the Blessington area and Rathdrum and Templerainey.
