Concerns are mounting about a proposed commercial development near Magheramore Beach.

If plans are approved, a restaurant and gym would be built at the site alongside a cinema, swimming pool and surf school.A petition against the project has reached over 12,000 signatures online.Green Party TD in Wicklow Steven Mathews says the proposals are out of sync with the area.and would have a negative impact on the local environment.
