Parents and students have held a demonstration in North Wicklow in response to the ongoing shortages of secondary school places in the area.
Concerns have raised at the slow progress to deliver the permanent building for Greystones Community College.
Planning permission has also been sought to expand the campus at Colaiste Chraobh Abhann and at Templecarrig, but construction has yet to get underway.
The issue came to a head last October when indications suggested there was a shortage of 70 places.
Despite the provision of two additional classrooms in GCC, there are still approximately 30 students without a place for this coming September.
