Following changes to their enrolment policy last January, students of Bunscoil Loreto, are no longer guaranteed a place in Gorey Community School, meaning students may have to attend a secondary school outside of the town.
Over 850 participants formed a human chain at St Michael's Road and Esmonde Street in Gorey, passing the petition between themselves to highlight the links and proximity between the two schools.
