Organisers of the Dublin Marathon say they regret the event has been cancelled.
It's the second year in a row the race has been impacted by the pandemic.
The annual event was due to take place on October 24th, and traditionally attracts thousands of runners to the streets of Dublin.
Entries are valid for next year's event, and refunds are also available.
