Pancakes Are Flippin' Pricey! Why Not Head To The Martello Instead?

Enjoy pancakes and raise funds for Purple House on Tuesday Feb 17th.

Whisking up a stack of pancakes this Shrove Tuesday will cost you 35 per cent more than five years.

CSO figures show the cost of the main ingredients - eggs, flour, milk and sugar have risen by between 42% and 62% in that time. 

The CSO did not include the cost topping like lemons, chocolate spread or fruit in its survey.  Not to mention the energy costs to cook them!

Sounds like the perfect reason to head to the Martello in Bray. They’re once again hosting a Pancake Tuesday Fundraiser for Purple House Cancer Support.

It’s on between 10am and 12pm with live music in the beer garden.
