Over €13,500 Raised By Wicklow Fire Service For Aoibheann’s Pink Tie Lighthouse Project

The garden county's final figure is expected to rise as donations are still being counted and other fundraising events are also being planned.

Arklow, Carnew, Rathdrum, Dunlavin, Blessington and other fire crews across the county have been involved in fundraising initiatives.

Fund-raising has so far led to the purchase of a House in Drimnagh Dublin, which will provide families from throughout the country, who have a child receiving vital cancer treatment in Hospital, with a clean, safe and purpose-built accommodation for the period of their child’s cancer treatment.
