A number of projects in Wicklow are to benefit from government funding worth €759,000 to help improve outdoor amenities and walking trails around the county.
The funding allocation will see improvements made to the footpaths at the Murrough in Wicklow Town, age friendly seating and planters will be added to the Main Square in Blessington while a 2km cycle track will be installed in Bray, running from the Boghall Road to the new Shopping Centre.
The Outdoor Recreation Scheme aims to ensure a safe outdoor summer, as the easing of Covid restrictions continues.
