Organisers Call For Electric Picnic To Be Allowed Go Ahead

Laois County Council is being urged to reverse its decision to refuse permission for this years Electric Picnic.

It’s after the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan said NPHET would have no objection to the event going ahead - if it was for vaccinated ticket holders only.
Organisers Festival Republic want to know today if it can proceed.
The Laois local authority rejected an application for the festival to go ahead, citing public health grounds
