It appeared to show a vehicle being driven on the wrong side of a road on the N11 near Kilmacanogue last Tuesday.

The 25-second clip was shared on multiple local forums.

Bray Garda Station also received a large volume of calls due to people viewing it online.

Gardaí responded to reports of dangerous driving, but no vehicle was present at the scene.

Senior Garda sources believe it to be an old recording.
