Over 11,800 people flew into Dublin Airport last week, an increase of 2 per cent on the previous week.
There was an 11 per cent increase in foreign residents arriving, at just over 4,800.
While more than 7,000 Irish residents flew into the airport with holidays the top reason for their journeys.
Sinn Féin's transport spokesperson, Darren O'Rourke, says too many people are still going abroad.
