A new survey shows Wicklow’s commercial vacancy rate dropped to just over 12% in the final quarter of 2019 while accounting for 2.9% of commercial address points nationally.
According to research from GeoDirectory, the national vacancy rate stood at 13.3 per cent, 0.1 per cent higher than the same period in 2018.County Sligo recorded the highest rate of vacancies at 19 percent, while Meath had the lowest at 10 percent.The data also shows Arklow had the highest number of premises disused in Wicklow while Greystones had the lowest.
