It’s being reported that the National Public Health Emergency Team has again recommended that the entire country moves to level five for a period of six weeks.
It’s understood the recommendation was made in a letter sent to the health Minister Stephen Donnelly last night.
244 people with Covid-19 are being treated in Irish hospitals today, an increase of six patients since yesterday and the highest figure since May.
Figures from the HSE also show that last night there were 29 people with the Coronavirus in ICU.
