No EV Chargers Planned For Greystones In Latest Roll Out

It’s being claimed that no Electric Vehicle charging point will be installed in Greystones in the new round of nationwide installations. 

Social Democrats Councillor Jennifer Whitmore says despite an online petition of almost 1,000 people calling for it, and a written request to the Minister for the Environment and Climate Action, Greystones District is not included in the €20m roll-out for charging points across the country. 

Councillor Whitmore says it’s a clear indication of the Minister’s approach to his Climate Action brief.
