The HSE has secured a site for a new Covid vaccination centre that will serve both south Wicklow and north Wexford.
The new facility will be based at the Kilanerin Community Centre outside Arklow.
It’s expected to be fully operational by the middle of June with ten booths and the capacity to offer 1,200 vaccinations a day.
The move comes after the contract to use the Arklow Bay Hotel expired without being used to administer a single dose of the Covid vaccine.
