A new survey shows house values have soared over the past 12 months.
The study from property agents DNG says the estimated value of a home is up 11% year on year.
This is the highest level of inflation the company has measured since 2017.
But the company says there is some hope for buyers, with inflation set to level off slightly towards the end of the year as more new homes come to market.
