A new Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll, shows 51% of voters say the government is 'not doing a good job' in dealing with the pandemic, a 15% increase since the last poll in autumn.
The Taoiseach Micheál Martin and the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly were also rated poorly by the majority of voters, while 83% believe the Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan is doing a good job.
It also shows a drop in support for Fine Gael, down 5 to 30%, with Fianna Fail down 3 to 14%. Sinn Fein has fallen 1% to 28, with Independents and Others gaining 8 up to 19%.
The Greens are up 2 to 6% while Labour have fallen 1 to 3%.
