A new local link bus service is due to begin operations shortly in West Wicklow.
The 183 will connect commuters between Naas and the train station in Arklow and will also serve Blessington, Laragh, Glendalough, Roundwood, Ashford, Rathnew and Wicklow Town.
The new 183 route, extends the current route, adds greater frequency to the 133L will be one of the longest local link routes and should be operational within the next few weeks.
It is the second east- west route for Wicklow, the 800 route introduced two years ago, operates east west in south Wicklow from Arklow railway station to Carlow Railway serving Aughrim, Tinahely and Shillegah.
