You may have heard by now that we’re looking for a New Local Hero again.
But this time we’re also looking for an original Irish language song too!
Amhrán an Laoch is the song of the hero, so if you or someone you know is writing songs as Gaelige, then send in that song via irishmusicmonth.ie
If it’s your song that gets selected you win:
– Airplay support across 21 independent Irish radio stations
– Guaranteed coverage in and support from Hot Press
– €2,000 euro prize money
– Music industry mentoring & support
– An opportunity to perform live at the New Local hero National Finale @ The Academy, Dublin in October
- A record label release of your song with further on-air support & promotion
You have until Wednesday, September 18, to submit your entry.
