Over 157,000 people will receive the Pandemic Unemployment Payment this week. Over 4,400 of those payments are to recipients here in County Wiclow.
That's down from around 163,000 last week.
The weekly payment is valued at €46.7 million.
The greatest reduction this week is in the Accommodation and Food Services sector.
The county with the highest number of people receiving the PUP is Dublin, followed by Cork and Galway.
People are being reminded the payment will be gradually reduced over a six month period until February 2022 to align it with the standard jobseekers payments, starting from September.
