The numbers in Kildare are less than Meath and Wicklow combined.
The three counties make up the Mid East Region where 47 families, including 111 children were without a home in June.
Latest figures from the Department of Housing show 8,014 people were homeless nationwide, a slight increase on the previous month.
However the figure is an 8% drop on the total recorded for the same period last year.
