Anew report from the Environmental Protection Agency shows over 100,000 people were removed from ‘at risk’ supplies in Wicklow last year.
Irish Water recently completed construction on a new treatment plant in Vartry safeguarding supplies for more than 200,000 people in Bray, Wicklow Town, Enniskerry, Greystones and South Dublin.
But the watchdog says there are 46 'vulnerable' water supplies that need significant work around the country.
