Irish Rail have indicated coastal protection works will commence along the Murrough in Wicklow Town later this month.Coastal erosion has damaged away sections of the site in recent years, leading to calls to preserve it for the future.Councillor Mary Kavanagh says the works will be carried out over a number of years.
