A motorcyclist has died in a crash in the Wicklow Gap.
The single-vehicle collision happened at Turlough Hill at the Wicklow Gap shortly before 10 o'clock last night.
The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed for a post-mortem exam.
The road has since reopened following a technical examination and local diversions have been lifted.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
It brings to 89 the number of people who have lost their lives on the roads so far this year.
