East Coast FM's Morning Show Presenter Declan Meehan has been recognised for his years in broadcasting by being inducted into the prestigious IMRO Radio Hall of Fame.
The accolade acknowledges and celebrates those behind the microphone who have made a significant contribution to the Irish radio industry.
Declan's career spans Pirate radio, including radio Nova to being one of the first early group of presenters on RTE's radio 2 and Century Radio. Declan has fronted the Morning Show here on East Coast FM for the past 27 years.
His show has also helped raise over 800,000 euro for cancer support charities in the county by hosting the now famous Wicklow wide Coffee Morning.
All his colleagues here at East Coast Fm would like to extend our congratulations to Declan this morning.
