A Junior Minister says he's concerned that losing Bus Eireann expressway services means less competition among operators.
The semi-state company announced yesterday it's cutting routes from Dublin to Limerick, Galway and Cork, while the bus from Dublin to Belfast will be suspended indefinitely.
Bus Eireann has assured the Transport Minister Eamon Ryan there will be no redundancies, as staff can be re-deployed.
