Minister For Health Invited Before Oireachtas Committee Following Spate of Resignations Over Sláintecare

The Minister for Health, Wicklow T.D. Stephen Donnelly met with the former Executive Director of the Sláintecare implementation group yesterday evening.

Laura Magahy, and the Chairperson of the Sláintecare Implementation Advisory Council ProfessorTom Keane resigned last week.

The minister is due to hold a virtual meeting with remaining members of the council tomorrow. Minister Donnelly and his department's  Secretary General have also been invited to appear before the Oireachtas Health Committee next week.
