Mid Summer Date Likely For Dublin Bay South By Election

It's expected the by-election in Dublin Bay South will be held on the 8th of July.

The writ for the election to replace Eoghan Murphy in the Dáil will be moved tomorrow afternoon.

Government sources say they expect polling day to be on Thursday, July 8th.

Housing is likely to be the dominant issue in a constituency that contains a large amount of apartment blocks and more affluent south Dublin areas.
