Minister for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English came to County Wicklow to launch the €180 million project.

Among the projects for Wicklow are:
- The development of an incubation food development hub in County Wicklow;
- Develop and operate a Content Creation Enterprise Hub at Wicklow County Campus, Rathnew.
- Establish Crew Development Hubs to develop and nurture new and diverse talent from across the region.
- Implement the Wicklow Screen Sector Development Strategy to lead to the growth of the industry across the region.
- Enterprise Hub for specialised and customised, sector specific business supports for the Irish screen content creation sector.
The plan is one of nine being launched nationwide covering counties Kildare, Meath, and Wicklow that will run until 2024.
Up to 180 million in funding will be made available to develop and implement innovation enterprise projects in the region and support sustainable jobs.
