Mediahuis Ireland has finalised the acquisition of a packaging company in South Wicklow.
Paramount Packaging is based in Arklow and supplies food, industrial, luxury and pharmaceutical packaging products to business customers around the country.
A statement from the publishing group, which owns the Irish and Sunday Independent, said the acquisition is in line with their strategy to support its news wholesale business.
The company has been trading in Wicklow since 1997.
