The Garda Commissioner will meet with two Garda representative bodies today, following last weekend’s anti-lockdown protest in Dublin.
A number of Gardaí were injured and 13 people have appeared in court so far, following the violence.
Meanwhile a man in his 30s remains in custody this morning in connection with a firework attack on officers at the protest.
Gardai are also preparing to deal with a second planned protest this weekend in Cork City.
