A man in his 20’s who died in a fatal single vehicle collision on the outskirts of Gorey in the early hours of Sunday Morning has been named locally as Eoin Cassin from Wicklow.
Eoin who was the sole occupant, sustained serious injuries after the van he was driving hit a tree at Clonattin Lower, on the old Arklow Road.
He was taken to St. Vincents Hospital in Dublin where he later passed away.
Garda Forensic Examiners have been examining the scene and gardai say GSOC are carrying out an examination.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or people with dashcam footage to contact Gorey Garda Station.
