A man in his 30’s has been charged following the recovery of a stolen vehicle and a large quantity of drugs in the town yesterday.
During an intelligence led operation, a jeep which had previously been reported stolen was identified by Gardaí parked outside a residence on the Boghall Road in Bray.
As Gardaí approached the residence to carry out a search under warrant, a man with a backpack ran from the hallway towards the rear garden of the residence, where he was apprehended.
A search of the backpack uncovered a large amount of cocaine, cannabis in deal bags, tablets and just under €9,000 in cash and the keys to the stolen jeep.
Following an appearance before Bray District Court, he was remanded in custody and is due before Cloverhill District Court via video link at 10.30 next Friday the 24th of July.
