Man arrested following €76,000 drug seizure in West Wicklow
A Man has been arrested following a €76,000 drug seizure in West Wicklow.
The arrest and seizure took place yesterday, Tuesday the 9th of July, as part of an intelligence-led operation.
A man in his 30s has been arrested following the seizure of approximately €76,000 worth of suspected cocaine weighing in at 1.02kgs.The seizure was made as a result of an intelligence-led, joint operation between the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau , the Bray District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.The man is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a Garda station in the Wicklow Division.
