An estimated 2 million euro worth of drugs, believed to be cocaine, was seized at Rosslare Port yesterday evening.
The haul was found as it was being taken off a ferry.
It was seized by Customs officers and the gardaí, and a man in his forties was arrested at the scene.
He remains in custody this morning at Wexford Garda Station, under the Drug Trafficking Act.
