A man in his late teens has been arrested in connection with a serious assault at a house in Newbridge, Co Kildare last night.
The victim, in his 60s, is in a critical condition at Naas General Hospital after being attacked in the Moore Park area at around 9pm.
A suspect was arrested this afternoon and is being held at Newbridge garda station.
