Wicklow Minister Simon Harris today launched ‘Made in Wicklow’ digital platform in Powerscourt Hotel.
This project showcases 45 of Wicklow’s craft practitioners and a five day exhibition is now open across the bank holiday weekend in Powerscourt’s Hallway Gallery.
This project showcases the skills, originality, and creativity of craft makers in County Wicklow and offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in a visual exploration of the people and places behind local beautifully made craft pieces, all made with “Head, Heart & Hands”.

·The project is producing 18 videos which will feature on Wicklow Craft Foundation and will be played on a loop at the exhibition.
·All craft practitioners are being professionally photographed along with four product shots to ensure professionalism and continuity
·In the lead up to the event, 26 craft focused workshops have been hosted in the Wicklow Libraries.
