'Lockdown' has been named Word of the Year by Collins Dictionary.
The top 10 list is dominated by terms relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, such as "key worker", "self-isolate" and "social distancing".
Researchers registered over 250,000 usages of lockdown during 2020, against only 4,000 the previous year.
