Wicklow Sinn Féin TD John Brady has condemned those who vandalised the memorial that was erected in Bray to remember Firefighters Brian Murray and Mark O’Shaughnessy who died in 2007.
Following previous acts of vandalism, Councillors Dermot O’Brien and Grace McManus succeeded in getting the council to erect public lighting at the memorial to act as a deterrent.
However, the lighting has yet to be switched on, despite it being installed a number of months ago.
