A new bus route is to link Dunlavin in west Wicklow to Newbridge in Kildare.
The National Transport Authority has said the 129 route will begin operations by the end of the summer and will pass through Kilcullen.
Green TD in Wicklow Steven Mathews says the new route will operate seven days a week.
