A campaign group has set up a go-fund me page to help pay for planning professional to make a submission to An Bord Pleanala, on the proposed Arklow flood relief scheme.
The Save Maritime Arklow campaign wants to put forward a number of design changes to the plan, which they say will enhance the town, while providing flood relief, and will open the potential of the town into the future.
Speaking to East Coast FM’s Morning Show, Campaign member and Arklow Councillor Pier Leonard said they want to ensure they have a real say in what is a major investment project in the town.
